Loure Bussey is a multi-talented artist. She is an award-winning, best-selling author, singer, songwriter, artist, designer, and businesswoman.
She has written twenty novels, over seventy short stories, and one children's book. Harlequin Books, BET Books, and Kensington Publishing published many of her books. Presently, she releases her works through her company, Dreamer Entertainment. Her successes have garnered the prestigious Zora Neale Hurston Literary Award, a prize-winning screenplay, and multiple bestseller lists
Music is another area of Loure’s accomplishments. She is a lyric soprano who honed her vocals in recording studio sessions, making her a powerful, rich-toned songstress with a five-octave range. Having instrumentalist skills, she is also a keyboardist who writes, arranges, and produces music. She recorded a children’s CD, and her tunes played on cable television. An album featuring R&B ballads and a gospel collection is part of several upcoming projects.
Loure’s lifelong love affair with the creative arts has led to achievements in fashion design, a growing artworks company, and other ventures that allow her to share her gifts. As well, as an entrepreneur, she explores and builds varied opportunities. She has received press via radio, television, newspapers, magazines, and online publications. She is a member of literary and music organizations, such as the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
